The Yankees and Orioles have been locked in a tight race for the American League East crown all season.

But with less than a month to go, it’s the Bronx Bombers with the slight edge in the eyes of oddsmakers.

Sitting a half-game up of the O’s heading into Tuesday’s play, the Yankees are a -140 favorite to come out on top of the division while Baltimore is +140 at FanDuel Sportsbook.

After a red-hot start to the season, the Yankees were a heavy favorite to win the AL East until a midsummer swoon allowed the Orioles back into the race.

In early July, Baltimore surpassed the Bombers on most odds boards, although they have clawed their way back to the top since.

Before Opening Day, the Yankees were slight division favorites despite the Orioles’ taking it with a 101-win campaign in 2023.

The two teams will square off in a three-game set Sept. 24-26 in a series in The Bronx that could ultimately decide the division.

No matter who wins it, both teams will be heard from in October.

The Orioles are 9.5 games up in the AL wild card race, making them (and the Yankees) a virtual lock for the postseason.

They are also the top-two favorites in the junior circuit with the Yankees at +240 to win the AL pennant and Orioles right behind at +320.

The Astros, who appear to be the team that will take first in the AL West, have the third-best AL pennant odds at +340, followed by the Guardians (+600) and Twins (+650).
