Fresh off his third Olympic gold medal, LeBron James is gearing up for his 22nd season in the NBA.

In 2024-25, James and his son, second-round pick Bronny, will suit up for the Los Angeles Lakers, making them the first father-son duo to play on the same team at the same time in NBA history.
As of now, Bronny is projected to be a third-string point guard under rookie coach JJ Redick; his dad will likely start alongside D’Angelo Russell, Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura and perennial All-Star center Anthony Davis.
That core nucleus hopes to lead Los Angeles to its fifth playoff appearance in six seasons.
