Ime Udoka certainly won’t be invited to any referee holiday parties after he torched officials following the Rockets’ 120-11 loss to the Kings on Tuesday night.
In his postgame comments, the head coach targeted referee John Goble, who ejected the coach in the fourth quarter for arguing what he felt was a string of missed calls.
“Blatant missed calls right in front of you,” Udoka said in response to a question about how the game was officiated. “You’re calling ticky-tack moving screens, and little s–t like that and then you don’t want to call the obvious ones right in front of you, so that was it. Alpie [Sengun] got fouled a few times on that drive and on the layup and they don’t want to call it. I told him: ‘Get some f–king glasses. Open your eyes.’”
Udoka’s comments came after he was so heated at Goble that a member of his staff had to hold him back on the court after his ejection.
The coach walked onto the court to confront him and was seen on video trying to get into Goble’s face multiple times near the scorer’s table.
There was no love lost for Goble after the game as well.
Goble is in his 17th season as an NBA official, having also worked one NBA Finals.
“Take your sensitivity and emotions out of it and call the game the right way,” Udoka told reporters as his rant continued. “It’s obvious right in front of you, and John Goble — or whoever it was — sees it, doesn’t call it, and I let him know about it.”

In November, Kings coach Mike Brown was hit with a $35,000 fine for “aggressively pursuing” an official.
