Police body cam footage from former NFL star Chandler Jones’ detainment by police during a mental health visit showed him trying to call his former Patriots teammate, Tom Brady, while handcuffed on Nov. 27, 2023.

In the eight-minute video, which was obtained Tuesday by TMZ, officers from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (Ariz.) arrived at Jones’ home to check on him after they said some people were concerned about him — and then one officer said they were taking him to a mental health facility.

“I’m calling Tom Brady right now,” Jones, who was wearing just his underwear and socks, said in the video as he had the call on speaker.

The footage does not show Brady picking up the call.

Jones and Brady were Patriots teammates for four seasons and they won a Super Bowl together in 2015, when New England beat the Seahawks, 28-24.

Jones also asked if he could call his brother, UFC star Jon Jones.

Police arrived at Jones’ home after receiving a court-ordered mental health petition.

Prior to Jones mentioning Brady, the veteran pass rusher was seen sobbing to police about an unnamed woman he said he was intimate with, who was there during the police visit.

The All-Pro defensive end claimed the woman’s dogs bit him, but said he didn’t want to press charges against her.

“Can we talk a little more Mr Jones … just about what’s going on because apparently some people are concerned,” said one officer, who appeared to be wearing the body cam.

Jones’ attitude shifted after that.

“You could leave. Get the f–k out of my house,” he said. “Get the f–k out. We’re done. You could leave. Get the f–k out of here.”

At one point, Jones sat on the ground and told the officers he was not willing to talk to a doctor.

“It kind of hurts me as a celebrity to come to my mansion and someone is telling me to go to a psych ward,” he said.

Jones also asked if he was going to jail if he didn’t go to a psychiatric facility.

He was eventually transported to a nearby psychiatric facility “without further issues,” according to police documents obtained by TMZ.

Prior to that incident, Jones was arrested on two charges of violating a domestic violence protective order in Las Vegas on Sept. 30, 2023, and was released by the Raiders two days later.

His arrest occurred a day after he posted a 25-minute live stream on X, during which he cried while discussing then-Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels and former teammate Aaron Hernandez, who killed himself in prison in 2017 after being convicted of murder.

Separately, Jones claimed in a series of since-deleted posts on X that was he was forced into a mental hospital and injected with medication he did not want to take by the Las Vegas Fire Department.

Jones — a Syracuse alum and a 2012 first-round pick by the Patriots — spent six seasons with the Arizona Cardinals before he signed a three-year, $51 million deal with the Raiders in March 2022.
