The Giants may have just landed their starting left guard.

The team signed veteran offensive lineman Greg Van Roten, Giants head coach Brian Daboll told reporters Tuesday morning.

The Giants released cornerback Aaron Robinson to make space for Van Roten.

Van Roten, a nine-season veteran, started 17 games for the Raiders last year while working with new Giants offensive line coach Carmen Bricillo.

The Post’s Ryan Dunleavy speculated that Van Roten may find his way into the starting rotation.

The Giants have struggled to put a quality offensive line in front of their quarterbacks for years and general manager Joe Schoen seems determined to not let issues up front derail another season.

Van Roten, who also played for the Bills, Jets, Panthers and Packers in his career, has started 71 of his 110 career games.

The Giants already signed former Packers lineman Jon Runyan Jr. to be their right guard, and if Van Roten starts it would mean the Giants completely overhauled their guard spots this offseason.

With Andrew Thomas locked in at left tackle and John Michael-Schmitz at center, the Giants seemingly have two spots open among Van Roten, offseason signing Jermaine Eluemunor and former first-round pick Evan Neal, who is currently on the physically unable to perform list.
