There is no better way to get in on the action this Monday than by diving into the player prop market ahead of “Monday Night Football.”

Monday’s matchup between the Miami Dolphins and the Los Angeles Rams is loaded with stars.

Let’s analyze which players will or will not have success.

Matthew Stafford Under 1.5 passing touchdown (+120, bet365)

On paper, the Rams are a pass-heavy offense throwing the ball at a 59 percent clip this season.

However, when they get into the red zone, it’s a different story.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford averages 4.9 red zone passing attempts per game, while star running back Kyren Williams averages 4.8 red-zone rush attempts per game.

From what we’ve seen, the matchup typically dictates whether the Rams throw or pass in the red zone, and against the Miami Dolphins, it would be wise to keep the ball on the ground.

Miami’s secondary has been stout, ranking seventh in opponent completion percentage and sixth in passing yards allowed. It has also given up the fewest passing touchdowns in the NFL this year.

Lastly, Stafford has thrown two touchdowns or less in six of eight games this season, so getting this under at plus-money is a tremendous value.

Raheem Mostert longest rush Over 10.5 yards (-125, DraftKings)

Much has been made about De’Von Achane’s surge with Tua Tagovailoa back under center, but Raheem Mostert still has a clear role in the offense.

Over the last two weeks, Achane has had 22 rush attempts, while Mostert has recorded 19 attempts.

Mostert has shown that he is still explosive out of the backfield, recording a rush of 11 yards or more in four of his five games this season. He will have a great opportunity for success tonight as the Los Angeles Rams rank 25th in rushing yards per game allowed.

The great thing about this prop is that we only need one big play.

Mostert hasn’t been highly efficient overall, averaging just 3.8 yards per carry, but he’s shown he can still break off big runs and should do so in this plus matchup.

Betting on the NFL?

Puka Nacua Over 1.5 rushing yards (+100, bet365)

Our last player prop is a sneaky one. Above, we went over just how much Kyren Williams is involved in the offense on the ground, but he’s not the only one who consistently gets carries game to game.

Wide receiver Puka Nacua has been utilized in jet sweeps and reverses in the Rams’ offense. He has had a carry in 10 of his 21 career games, including two of his three games this year.

His carries have also often been positive, as he averages 5.5 yards per carry in his career. So, it will only take one carry from Nacua to cash this over, and given how focused the Dolphins’ defense will be on Kyren Williams, we’ll likely see Nacua used for some deception on the ground.
