Hassan Al Noon, a young Emirati, has always been passionate about technology since his early educational days. He has continuously worked on self-improvement by taking advanced scientific courses outside the country. He has become one of the top experts in the “Emirati Experts” program, developed under the directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, as a platform for specialized experts in the country who want to play a leading role in transforming future growth sectors in line with the national priorities of the UAE.
Al Noon, who now holds a leadership position as the head of technology at Booteam, states that his professional career began with a passion for computers, which he developed during his studies, and continued to enhance by taking specialized courses during university. He emphasized on focusing on technology in the UAE initially, then decided to further develop himself by pursuing studies in the United States, specializing in professional aspects and information security in the technical field. He also had an interest in information security as a scientific discipline that helps in securing individuals from digital threats.
After completing his studies, Al Noon noticed that the field of information security did not have widespread popularity in the UAE as it does now. In the early days, he worked as a programmer and continued to pursue self-improvement by joining a training program in France on encryption development and information security. He specialized as an expert proficient in encryption mechanisms and procedures for dealing with them, expanding his field to include medical and environmental matters related to artificial intelligence beyond information security.
Al Noon mentions that his expertise lies in understanding various technological aspects as all digital advancements are simplified by relying on applications. Therefore, he focused more on artificial intelligence and technology-related sciences, such as environmental diversity and cell biology. His work has evolved from the encryption field into a broader area that encompasses medical and environmental matters linked to artificial intelligence, where artificial intelligence has contributed to advancing these fields and understanding the brain’s functioning.
Regarding his involvement with the global company Booteam, he initially had a specialized information security consultancy company and began working as a technology consultant at Booteam in 2021. His relationship with the company evolved, leading him to lead a team of engineers specializing in information security, artificial intelligence, and communications. As an expert in the “Emirati Experts” program, Al Noon participated in the recent GITEX exhibition in Dubai to follow up on the latest technological advancements inside and outside the country, how they are being used by government entities and private institutions, and how to adapt and benefit from them on a national level, especially innovations related to artificial intelligence in terms of dissemination, development, and implementation.
