The Chiefs’ biggest superstars had their Kansas City-area homes burglarized last month right around the same day the team was slated to play a game.

Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes’s homes were broken into within hours of each other on Oct. 6 and Oct. 7, according to TMZ.

The outlet was able to obtain Cass County Sheriff’s Office documents that said the burglary at Mahomes’ mansion was reported to police around midnight on Oct. 6 and a source told TMZ that Kelce’s mansion was burglarized at 7:33 p.m.

Details about both incidents were limited, though sources told TMZ that Kelce’s back door was damaged and $20,000 in cash was taken.

Police are investigating the Mahomes burglary, per TMZ, and a police activity log only noted that the break-in involving Kelce’s home was reported on Oct. 8.

The incidents took place before the Chiefs were scheduled to face the New Orleans Saints on “Monday Night Football.”

Kansas City won 26-13 and Kelce’s girlfriend and pop icon Taylor Swift was on hand to watch the game — with the power couple opting to stay in a downtown Kansas City hotel after the break-in, per TMZ.

Mahomes threw for 331 yards in the win and Kelce had nine catches for 70 yards.

Neither player has publicly commented on the report.

Kelce had purchased his home in Leawood, Kansas, a city south of Kansas City, for more privacy after he went public with his relationship with Swift.

Mahomes purchased the land for his Belton, Missouri mansion back in 2020.

He built out a sprawling estate that included a partial football field and was completed last year.

“I’m here to be in Kansas City for the long term. I’m part of Chiefs Kingdom and this house embodies that,” Mahomes said about the home on the Netflix series, “Quarterback.”

It is believed the burglaries are part of a larger crime spree, TMZ reported.
